It depends. We recommend most businesses purchase accounting software such as Quickbooks, Sage, or Xero. However, in some cases spreadsheets are faster and easier for our clients to work with.
We provide current statements every time we update the books, including a Balance Sheet and Profit Statement. We're always happy to review them with you, and can provide additional reports based on the needs of your business.
Yes, we calculate HST and can file this for you. HST filing is included in all of our bookkeeping packages at no additional charge.
Absolutely. For example, we can consult on best practices and accounting software. We can coach with tutorials or one-on-one time. We can also do regular high-level reviews and reconciliations to ensure everything looks good.
Regular monthly or quarterly bookkeeping is usually between $199 and $399/month depending on the workload. This includes any HST filings and year-end work. If you just need bookkeeping for year-end taxes, we charge just $60/hour instead. Consulting or high-volume work is priced on a case-by-case basis.
